Tocumen
The area of Tocumen is located 15 miles (24 km) from Panama City. Tocumen is host to the Tocumen International Airport - the busiest airport in Panama. It has flights to almost every city in Latin America. It is a huge hub for transit passengers and each day receives more and more passengers, making it one of the airports which grows faster in this region. It recently had a major expansion and renovation program (2006), making it the most modern airport in Central America, with standards and facilities comparing or surpassing those in Mexico, Brazil and major airports in Latin America. The airport is just a few minutes away from Panama City through the Southern Corridor.
